Topaz Glow Night

Experience a chic evening in the breathtaking Texas Hill Country! This event was planned for a company going through big changes, so the futuristic feel of the evening was a perfect match. Guests arrived through a tunnel entryway at sunset, and were greeted by sleek white decor, glowing LED lights, delicious food and drink, and a dance floor ready for a party. Interactive LED dancers entertained guests throughout the evening, and were a unique wow-factor and a cool photo op. This unforgettable event was the perfect pairing of a beautiful location, modern decor, and unique entertainment.

The Roaring 20’s

Take a step back in time to the Roaring 20’s and watch the Goen South DMC team create this glamorous Gatsby-themed event for a fun-loving client. Our first step was to set the mood with a red carpet entrance where guests posed for paparrazi. Before the awards dinner began, guests mingled and enjoyed a drink in a speakeasy atmosphere. The awards dinner went off without a hitch, and we had a surprise for guests that involved some seriously cool special effects. Soon after dinner, the dance party began! The rest of the evening was a party that rivaled one of Jay Gatsby’s, with dance music, glow sticks, hand-rolled Cuban cigars, and more. This Roaring 20’s party was a night to remember!

Keep Austin Weird

Watch Goen South set up this eclectic, funky, and eye-catching event for guests visiting Austin for the first time. All of the props and pieces of decor have been discovered at flea markets, antique shops, and even on the side of the road! Some of the pieces were made by local artists, and many of the items were repurposed into something new, while still keeping the original character. The decor pieces are cool, funky, and totally one of a kind, just like the city of Austin itself.

Electric Glow Night

Glow baby glow! The Goen South DMC team planned and produced this Electric Glow event as the spectacular finale to cap off our client’s yearly conference. We created a unique event that allowed guests to let loose and dance all night, even after the 10 pm noise ordinance went into effect. We set up an LED dance floor that glowed from afar, and provided light up and glow-in-the-dark props and paint to keep guests glowing throughout the night. After 10 pm, the dancing continued with a “silent disco,” where DJs played dance music that could only be heard through headphones. In addition to the dance floor, our team set up a huge glow-in-the-dark laser tag area, complete with neon vests and inflatable bunkers for each team. Loving Disco

Let’s party like it’s 1975! Goen South DMC designed this event with all of the grooviest elements of the 70’s. The decor was all glitz and shine, from the glittering disco balls above the dance floor to the sleek white and chrome lounge furniture. The DJ played 70’s dance hits that had guests putting on their boogie shoes. And to add a really funky twist, a “disco diva” joined the party! Her spray-painted gold afro, bell bottoms, and platform shoes really stole the show! With the groovy decor, disco diva, and 70’s dance music, this event was totally over the top, just like the 1970’s.

Food Truck Fun

Our clients wanted to enjoy an Austin Food Truck festival, without having to leave the Hyatt Regency Austin. So we brought the event to the property. We had a rain day and had to move everything inside but our client said that they could not imagine their guest having a better time by all!

Texas Carnival

In this video, Goen South DMC brought to life a fun carnival event with a Texas State Fair twist. We wanted to create a space that truly felt like a real carnival, so our team went all out. String lights and red-and-white striped pennants were strung from the ceilings, and rustic decor pieces really played up the Texas feel. A talented local band entertained guests with live music. Because this was a carnival event, there was no shortage of games and activities for guests to enjoy. We set up classic carnval games like corn hole and bottle ring toss, plus inflatable slides, a face paint station, and a photo station. And because no fair is complete without food, local food trucks served up delicious treats all day long.
