Event design is where you can let your creativity and personality shine. Goen South DMC sees every event space as a blank canvas, ready to be transformed into something magnificent. And with over 32,000 square feet of warehouse space filled with all the decor you could imagine, we have everything needed to create a truly unforgettable event. Unlike other DMCs, we own all of our decor and have an in-house floral and design team, so you’re never dealing with a middleman. Our warehouse is filled with specialty linens, tables and chairs, props, lighting, vases, one-of-a-kind decor, and more. In addition, our talented team of in-house florists and designers create unique and beautiful floral arrangements and centerpieces that can complement any theme and elevate any space. If you need something we don’t already have, we’ll buy it. This means that you’ll get more bang for your buck; you’ll never pay an upcharge for outsourcing decor.
In addition to creating beautiful events, Goen South DMC has everything you need to throw the themed event of your dreams. Because we’re Texans through and through, we love a good rodeo, fiesta, or ranch night. And while we’re experts at creating an authentic Texas experience for guests, we love bringing all kinds of themes to life. We can roll out the red carpet for a glam night in old Hollywood, host a groovy 70’s throwback party, dazzle with a modern and sophisticated awards ceremony, and more. We love coming up with new themes and ideas- your imagination is the limit. No matter the theme, we can’t wait to bring your event to life.
Disco Forever
Let’s party like it’s 1975! Goen South DMC designed this themed event with all of the grooviest elements of the 70’s. The decor was all glitz and shine, from the glittering disco balls above the dance floor to the sleek white and chrome lounge furniture. The DJ played 70’s dance hits that had guests putting on their boogie shoes. And to add a really funky twist, a “disco diva” joined the party! Her spray-painted gold afro, bell bottoms, and platform shoes really stole the show! With the groovy decor, disco diva, and 70’s dance music, this event was totally over the top, just like the 1970’s.
Texas Ranch Night
Welcome to Texas, y’all! Watch the Goen South DMC team transform the outdoor lawns at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa into a laid-back ranch party that any Texan would be proud of. The goal was to immerse guests into an authentic Texas experience, and there’s nothing more Texan than a ranch party! With live music, rustic themed decor, and entertainment including armadillo racing, skeet shooting, a fireworks show, and more, this ranch party under the stars was a night to remember.
Tailgating and Tacos
Our multi-year clients, the Texas A&M 12th Man Foundation, wanted to have a tailgating party celebrating the sports of Texas A&M. We created a Texas tailgating party with a rock climbing wall, lawn games and of course lots of street tacos and beer!
Car Bar
Pull up and have a drink at our one-of-a-kind car bars. These vintage bars were made using old-school truck fronts found at an antique swap. The Goen South team gave these old truck fronts new life, and our car bars are the perfect addition to a Texas-themed event! They add a cool, rustic touch to more upscale decor, and they’re the perfect combination of form and function. Plus, the headlights work, too!
Rock the 80s
Big hair and big music- there’s so much to love about the 1980’s! Goen South DMC planned a throwback celebration of the 80’s that was over-the-top and fun, just like the 80’s were. With giant guitars, a LED dance floor, fog machines, and outrageous outfits and light-up shoes straight from the 1980’s, this event was a rockin’ good time. This event was one big party that had guests dancing to 80’s hits all night long!
Branded Koozies
Event gifts don't have to be boring or generic! Watch as Goen South DMC creates custom branded cowhide koozies for a client who wanted their guests to take home something truly Texan. Each koozie was branded the old-fashioned way with the client's logo for a unique and unforgettable event gift. No matter your event theme, Goen South DMC can help you make it special.
Graffiti Wall
Watch how this one-of-a-kind graffiti wall came together in just under three weeks! Our client requested a unique urban design for their event, so we got to work creating an event space that looks like a subway station with spray-painted graffiti and colorful props. The Goen South DMC team built the walls by hand, and worked with three local graffiti artists to create unique works of art on the walls. After 21 hours and 47 cans of spray paint, the graffiti wall was complete. Check out the finished product here.
State Fair
Come one, come all to the State Fair! This fun event had all of the elements that you would find at the state fair, including decor like string lights, pennant banners, Texas flags, and even a smaller, light-up version of the famous Big Tex. Guests enjoyed fair games like corn hole, bottle ring toss, and balloon darts, and two-stepped along with the live band. By the end of the night, everyone was wearing cowboy hats and having a great time. Don’t worry if you can’t make it to the Texas State Fair... Goen South DMC will bring the fair to you!
Outdoor Fiesta
Viva Fiesta! Experience an authentic fiesta with Goen South DMC. We’ll add flair to your event with fiesta decor, including colorful tablecloths, papel picado, serapes, beautifully patterned talavera vases, and bright local floral. We’ll help you choose the best entertainment options for your fiesta themed event, whether that includes a live band, folklorico dancers, a mariachi group… or all three! Water Wall
Looking for a stage backdrop or a sophisticated piece of decor to jazz up your event? Our LED water wall adds an elegant touch to all kinds of events and would be the perfect addition for an awards dinner, a modern event, or as a way to display company colors at a conference.
1976 Dance Party
Our client's company was founded in 1976 and to celebrate we took them back to the year 1976. We brought in themed hype dancers to get the guests on the floor and once they were there they did not leave until the music ended at the end of the party. Our client said, the guests never had a better time at one of their events.
Hawaiian Luau
A Luau in Texas? It’s possible! Goen South DMC designed and planned a lush and beautiful Hawaiian Luau deep in the heart of Texas. As guests entered the venue, they were transported to a Hawaiian island and greeted with colorful lei. Fresh leafy greenery decorated the space, and every table was topped with bright island floral. After a tiki cocktail or two, guests enjoyed surfing games and live music, and learned Hawaiian dance moves from hula dancers. This themed event was a fun tropical “vacation” for guests!

Hollywood Glam Night
Step into a night of Hollywood glamour! Goen South DMC rolled out the red carpet for this over-the-top Hollywood event. From sparkling crystal candelabra centerpieces to dramatic fog displays to a light-up dance floor, this event was as glamorous and fun as it looked. A Hollywood themed event is perfect for an awards ceremony, a welcome event, an elegant gala, or any event where you want to roll out the red carpet!
Bubble Girl
Step into the future with interactive LED dancers. Our "bubble girl" entertained guests throughout the evening, and were a unique wow-factor and a cool photo op. This unforgettable event was the perfect pairing of a beautiful location, modern decor, and unique entertainment.
