Destination Experiences, Tours & Excursions

Let us help you discover everything there is to love about Texas! Goen South DMC offers dozens of customizable tours and off-site activities in all of our cities. You can board a barge on the San Antonio River, enjoy a ballgame at the Houston Astros stadium, and go wine tasting in the Texas Hill Country. And because we have offices in each of the four major Texas cities, we’re able to share our local knowledge and give a personalized touch to every tour we lead.

If your group is looking for something more heart-pumping, an adventure excursion is the perfect opportunity to experience the thrilling side of Texas. Take a walk through underground caves, float in a hot air balloon over the rugged Texas landscape, channel your inner sharpshooter with a round of skeet shooting, or race against the clock in an escape room. Whether you prefer activities packed with adventure, culture, history, or a little bit of everything, we have something for everyone. We’ll show you and your guests a real Texas experience that you’ll never forget!

Skeet Shooter

Channel your inner sharpshooter with a few rounds of skeet shooting! Whether you’re an expert marksman or a beginner, you’ll have a blast at the shooting range. Skeet shooting is a great activity for fun-loving, outdoorsy, and adventurous groups. Guests can shoot disks for fun or add a level of friendly competition, but either way, you’ll feel like a real Texan by the end of the day!

Laser Tag

Let loose and get competitive with a few rounds of laser tag! Guests will break into teams and compete, combining stealth, strategy, and of course, fun! Laser tag is a great way to release some steam after a conference and bond with teammates. We’ll add to the fun with glow in the dark and light-up props. This is one game you don’t want to miss!

Kayak Tour

This beautiful 2-mile kayak trip along the King William District section of the San Antonio River is a serene and easy, flat-water experience, complete with a guided discussion about the long history of the King William area. Settled by wealthy German merchants in the mid-1800s, San Antonio's first suburb, consists of 25 blocks of historic and ornate 19th-century mansions, set amid lovely landscaping. King William District has been designated a Cultural Arts District by the Texas Commission on the Arts. After the kayak tour, the group has the option of taking a scenic walk along the river with our guide to a local cafe for lunch or dinner and beer tasting.

Mission Bike Tour

Pedal along San Antonio’s beautiful river as you explore our Unesco World Heritage Sites: the Missions. Guests will learn about our 300 years of rich history and culture while exploring Mission Concepcion, San Jose, Espada, and San Juan. Our certified tour guides are natives of San Antonio and have been avid cyclists for more than 40 years. Guests can enjoy an optional picnic boxed lunch at the halfway point, making this a picture perfect outing!
